Kaliham

Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Kaliham

Ask your AI assistant about your email: summaries, searches across all your accounts, and draft replies.

The Kaliham connector lets an AI app you trust use your Kaliham inbox. You add one address in the AI app, sign in to Kaliham and press Allow. It takes about two minutes, and you can disconnect it any time. https://kaliham.app/mcp

What the AI app can and can't do

It can

  • See which email accounts you added to Kaliham
  • List, search and read your emails, in every account at once
  • Save draft emails and replies in your Drafts folder

It can't

  • Send any email: you check drafts and send them yourself
  • Delete, move or archive emails
  • See your Kaliham or email passwords

Emails the AI reads stay unread in your inbox. Every draft it saves is noted in your security log.

Before you start

Claude

On claude.ai or the Claude desktop app. Some Claude plans limit how many custom connectors you can add.

  1. Open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Click Add custom connector.
  3. Name: Kaliham. URL: https://kaliham.app/mcp. Leave the advanced settings empty.
  4. Click Add, then Connect.
  5. A Kaliham page opens. Sign in, check that it says you'll go back to claude.ai, and press Allow.
  6. In a chat, open the tools menu and make sure Kaliham is switched on.

Using Claude Code? Run claude mcp add --transport http kaliham https://kaliham.app/mcp, then type /mcp to sign in.

ChatGPT

On chatgpt.com in a browser. Custom connectors need ChatGPT's developer mode, which is only on some paid plans. ChatGPT renames these menus from time to time, so the labels may differ a little.

  1. Open Settings and search for developer. Turn on Developer mode if it's off.
  2. Go to Settings → Plugins (called Apps & Connectors in some versions).
  3. Click Add → Add custom MCP server.
  4. Name: Kaliham. Description: My email inbox. Server URL: https://kaliham.app/mcp. Authentication: OAuth (leave Advanced OAuth settings alone).
  5. Click + Icon and upload the Kaliham icon (PNG, 256 × 256). ChatGPT doesn't fetch it by itself, and you can only add it now, not later.
  6. Tick I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
  7. Click Connect Kaliham. On the Kaliham page, sign in, check that it says chatgpt.com, and press Allow.
  8. In a new chat, type @Kaliham before your question, so ChatGPT uses Kaliham and not another email plugin.

Other AI apps

Kaliham works with any AI app that supports remote MCP connectors (Model Context Protocol) with OAuth sign-in. Add https://kaliham.app/mcp as a remote or "HTTP" MCP server, and choose OAuth if the app asks how to sign in. You don't need a client ID or secret: the app registers itself.

Things to ask

Summarize my unread emails from today.
Did anyone from the bank email me this week? What did they say?
Find the flight booking emails and list the dates and booking numbers.
Draft a polite reply to the latest email from Maria saying I can meet on Friday.

Drafts appear in that account's Drafts folder, in Kaliham and in your email app. Open one, check it, and send it yourself.

Disconnect an AI app

In Kaliham, open AI assistants in the menu and press Disconnect. Its access ends straight away. You can also remove Kaliham in the AI app's own settings.

Problems?

Connect keeps spinning, or no Kaliham page opens

Your browser may have blocked a pop-up. Look for a blocked pop-up icon in the address bar and allow pop-ups for the AI app's site, then click Connect again. If it still spins, remove Kaliham from the AI app and add it again.

The AI says Kaliham's tools aren't available

It isn't connected yet. Click Connect in the AI app's connector settings and finish the Kaliham sign-in. In ChatGPT, start your message with @Kaliham.

The answer came from another plugin (for example Gmail), not Kaliham

Mention Kaliham by name (@Kaliham in ChatGPT), or turn off the other email plugin for that chat.

"This connection request has expired"

The Kaliham page waits 10 minutes. Go back to the AI app and click Connect again.

It worked before but now asks me to connect again

That happens after you disconnect it in Kaliham, after 90 days without use, or if your Kaliham account was disabled. Connect it again the same way.

Your privacy

The AI app only gets what it asks for to answer you, and only after you press Allow. What it does with your email (keeping chats, or using them to improve its models) is set by that app and its own privacy settings. In ChatGPT, for example, you can turn off "Improve the model for everyone". More in our privacy policy.
