Where Kaliham is better
Your phone and your computer, one inbox
Kaliham runs in the browser and installs on iPhone and Android from there, without an app store. You see the same inbox on every device. Mailbird is a desktop program; on your phone you'd need a different app.
Free with every account
Adding Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud and work email to Kaliham is free, without ads. Mailbird's free plan covers one account, so a unified inbox for several accounts means a paid plan.
Nothing to install or update
Kaliham works on any computer with a browser, including Linux and Chromebooks, and updates itself. Handy on a work computer where you can't install programs.
Ask your AI assistant about your email
You can connect Claude or ChatGPT to Kaliham to summarise new email, find things and draft replies across all your accounts. The AI app can't send, delete or move anything.
Where Mailbird is better
- Offline reading: as a desktop program, it keeps downloaded mail on your computer. Kaliham needs an internet connection.
- App integrations: Mailbird has many built-in apps next to your inbox. Kaliham focuses on email, with Google Drive and AI assistants.
- Track record: Mailbird has been around for over ten years. Kaliham is new.
Try Kaliham free
- Create a free Kaliham account.
- Click Add email account and type your address. Outlook and Microsoft 365 connect with one click; Gmail, Yahoo and iCloud use an app password.
- Add your other accounts the same way. Everything arrives in one inbox, each account in its own colour.
Questions
Can I use Kaliham and Mailbird at the same time?
Yes. Neither one moves your email: it stays with Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo, so both apps show the same mail.
Does Kaliham keep a copy of my email?
No. Kaliham shows each mailbox from its own provider and doesn't store your emails. See the privacy policy.
Is there a Kaliham app for Windows or Mac?
Kaliham runs in your browser. In Chrome or Edge you can install it from the address bar, so it opens in its own window like a program.
